Hinckley & District Photographic Society (HDPS) is a small group of amateur photographers who meet on Friday evenings from Sept through to April.
This local club have competitions and other photography based events all carried out in a social environment.
Atkins Gallery is open Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 excluding Bank Holidays, and look out for additional evenings and weekend viewings.

Join Tigby and Jojo for a FREE arty workshop during April Half Term!
Meet Tigby the big red crab who loves adventure and local author Joanne to create a sensory 'Bag of Bugs' using mixed media fabrics, papers and materials! Workshops are taking place in Atkins Gallery at 11am and 1pm on Friday 5 April.

Atkins Building is launching a new business service in response to the current hybrid and flexible working options.
Atkins Building’s Co-working space is a warm and welcoming open plan office that's designed to accommodate people from different businesses to do their work in a comfortable and professional setting.
There is a launch of the new Co-Working space on Wednesday 17 April 2024 from 09:30 to 11:00.

HBBC 50 Open Exhibition, a celebration of our Borough through the decades
In 2024 Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council celebrates it’s 50th year as a borough council and with that in mind we are looking closer to home for inspiration for this year’s open exhibition.
Artist are welcome to submit up to 3 pieces in any medium for £12. Submission week is 01/07/2024 to 05/07/2024 at Atkins Building.

Historic Hinckley buildings walking tour, that all have a connection to the notable Atkins hosiery family.
Great Meeting Unitarian Chapel records when the first Atkins (Robert) arrived in Hinckley in 1722 to start his business. The Atkins family continued their connection with the chapel into the 20th century.
Atkins Building, the Victorian hosiery factory built by the descendants of 1722 Robert Atkins where manufacture continued by the family until 2002.
Hinckley & District Museum, a thatched framework knitters cottage the predecessor to the factory and was owned by the Atkins Family.
